FIDM MUSEUM NICK VERREOS.....Filming with KTLA's Gayle Anderson and International TV in advance of the Academy Awards at FIDM Museum's Costume Exhibition

A Date with Gayle! Nick Verreos getting ready to film live TV segments on the Academy Awards-nominated Best Costumes with Gayle Anderson and KTLA 5 Morning News--FIDM Museum

In advance of Sunday's 87th Annual Academy Awards, EVERYONE is talking OSCARS...so of course, there's a big interest in anything involving the Academy Awards. Well, as you may know FIDM Museum & Galleries just opened their 23rd Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition and this week I was busy--as the FIDM Museum Fashion Spokesperson--discussing all things Oscars Costumes + much more...

To start: I had the privilege of filming with  one of my FAVORITE Divas of Southern California TV, the ever-so-fabulous Gayle Anderson of KTLA. She was gracious enough to do several LIVE segments for KTLA Morning News this week covering the FIDM Museum's exhibit as well as discussing the Academy Award-nominated costumes on display. And naturally, I joined in on the fun:

During the time I was filming with Gayle and KTLA, I also had the WONDERFUL chance to meet the very talented Ruth E. Carter, Costume Designer for "Selma". Ruth was so sweet and she loved it when I showed her that I did my "homework" regarding the film and her costumes (I did some web research of course!). I almost fell on the floor when A) she knew who I was and recognized me, and B) told me that she loved me on "Project Runway"! Yes, I was #Blushing:

Besides the fabulous Gayle Anderson and KTLA, I also had the chance to film with various international TV networks and TV channels that visited the exhibition to shoot Oscars costumes buzz including China:
