Color Fall: Christian Dior RTW Fall/Winter 2015

The Look: "In the terrain of female animal" Creative Director Raf Simons said when asked about this Dior Fall/Winter 2015 collection, according to New York Times.

Trends: COLOR! Animal and Camouflage-like prints; python; fox fur; printed leggings; "car wash" skirts; asymmetrical hems; asymmetrical skirts; cropped trouser suits.

Colors: Mustard yellow, highlighter (neon) yellow, cherry red, brick red, black, pea green, rose pink.

The Look:"Digital"/Web Style; Lots of Instagram/@/emoji's references...in Swarovski crystals no less! Donatella & Co. realize that almost every single look might be Instagrammed or social media'ed so why not "Brand" it. The iconic Versace Greek key is now #[Greek], naturally.

Trends: Side pleated jackets,dresses, skirts; Label Divas; bell bottoms; big sunglasses;

Colors: Lipstick red, navy blue; pinstripe; highlighter yellow, neon green

Tribal Girls: DSquared2 Fall 2015

The Look: "A suitcase of clothes and jewels from Old Europe had fallen out of a plane over the icy tundra and been taken up by an Inuit tribe, who had incorporated the finery into their own tribal duds." Dean Caten told Style.com. They also said that the collection was inspired by "Canadian Indian Tribes". They (or their PR Dept.) wanted to start a #dsquaw hashtag but have since removed it and thought better. Lisa Charleyboy, owner of Urban Native Girl magazine, calls it: "The glamorization of colonization." Needless to say, this collection and it's "theme" has been controversial.

Trends: Tribal; Lots of fur; fur hoodies; Native-style "inspiration";

Colors: Black, white, khaki, tribal prints, teal blue, denim blue, canary yellow

New Man at Gucci: Creative Director Alessandro Michele taking his bow at Gucci Fall/Winter 2015

The Look: Alessandro Michele's first Womenswear Collection for Gucci after the whole Gucci "shake-up" and former Gucci Creative Director's Frida Giannini's unceremonious departure. This collection is moving Gucci into a new direction: Michele's Gucci girl is not Tom Ford-sexy or Giannini Euro Chic Trust-funder...she's more ingenue Boho...think "Luxe Hipster" who suddenly finds a trunk filled with old Haute fashions from her grandma's (or "kooky aunt's" closet).

Extra Long Pants: Gucci Fall/Winter 2015

Elongated Jackets: Gucci Fall/Winter 2015

Trends: Luxe Vintage; Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen...for 2015; Hipster/Boho Chic; Elongated jackets, extra long trousers; slouchy; Geek Chic; "Cousin Itt" fur slippers; printed suitings; androgyny; jackets and pants with creases showing possibly where the jacket (and pant length) was in previous seasons.
